The Committee

The AMCSA Committee is voted in at the end of Semester Two each year. For us, a new committee means a new chapter, bringing fresh voices, new ideas, and renewed enthusiasm to the association. We are responsible for running and managing the Seafarers Bar, as well as organising and delivering AMCSA events throughout the year.

 

This current committee is comprised of 12 dedicated members from both the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the Australian Maritime College (AMC). Together, we work to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, ensuring that the bar and our events provide opportunities for social connection, community engagement, and memorable experiences. Each committee member contributes their unique skills and perspectives, helping to make AMCSA a vibrant and student-focused organisation.
